Mary has always loved art and creativity. Her passion for hair started in high school with formal and casual styling and grew from there. Her hair education started at a small cosmetology school in Utah where she was able to learn from different industry leading professionals every week, and hone a core set of skills. After graduating in 2011 she worked at a salon and spa in Washington state where she attended numerous special education classes including L'Oreal Professional cutting and coloring. In addition to hair services, she provided nail and skin services. This fluid education has developed her passion for how beauty and health compliment each other. Mary loves the balance of the precise skill and art it takes to create a complete look. Hair Rx was extremely fortunate to snag her unparalleled talent in 2016. When she is not at the salon creating beautiful works of art, she is spending time with her husband and two young children and enjoys running, sewing, and reading.
