Hair Rx is looking for dynamic individuals to join our team of award-winning hairstylists and artists. We are an intimate, family-owned, award-winning salon with a loyal client base and a large amount of walk-in customers (Google us to be sure). We've just moved to an upgraded space and are looking to hire immediately.
We offer a competitive commission; we supply all your professional and styling products, and we offer regular education from top industry artists. We also offer Sick PTO, 401k Retirement Plan, Maternity Leave, and flexible schedules. Requirements vary by position. But overall, candidates must understand the importance of self-promotion, marketing, referrals, pre-booking, and retailing. We’re not looking for a stylist who likes to do the bare minimum—we only hire professional, goal-oriented stylists who want to grow within the industry and exceed guest expectations. This is a TEAM environment, where we embrace positivity and shun the backroom bitchy-ness (...we also celebrate open, respectful communication and problem-solving).

Candidate must excel in color techniques; precision cutting for men, women, and children; and finishing. Must be proficient in specialty styles, straightening services and permanent waving. We also prefer a candidate who is experienced in facial waxing. We offer extensions as well, but we offer training in our preferred techniques.

Candidate must be willing to work one night and one weekend day; but beyond that we are flexible. Candidate must understand the importance of pre-booking and retailing.

Associate Stylist
Hair Rx Salon is looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team of award-winning hair stylists. This position is designed for someone looking to grow their skill set, and perfect their craft—under the guidance and direction of a team of Master Stylists. You get to work alongside and learn from veterans in the hair and beauty industry, while gaining the experience you need to one day become one of them. Valid cosmetology, barber or hairstylist license is a must, but no additional experience is required.
​
This position is a paid apprenticeship, with a full one-year training program. Candidate must have foundational knowledge in color techniques; cutting for men, women and children; as well as finishing. Candidate must be willing to work some nights and weekends.
Candidate will learn the importance of self-promotion, marketing, referrals, pre-booking and retailing.
